Travel options are provided below. Whilst most clients make independent travel arrangements, many tour operators will allow you to book their flights and transfers even if you aren't booking a package with them. Inghams, Crystal and Ski Olympic to name just a few, all go to Tignes.
Car
If you are driving to Tignes, you will need to stay longer than a week, to avoid the weekend traffic. A good way to go is Macon A40-Bourg en Bresse-Geneva. Then, A41-Annecy-Chambery. This is a quieter route, avoiding the chaotic motorway intersections at Lyon. In Tignes, you will have to park in the covered garages. Phone 'Tignes Information Parkings' on 0033 47940 0670 or email

Some clients choose to travel to Lyon via Amsterdam with KLM
Train
SNCF: runs daily trains from Paris to Bourg St Maurice railway station in the valley.
Eurostar: From Great Britain, direct connection to Bourg St Maurice by Eurostar from London and Ashford. Or travel on the overnight ski train and get an extra 2 days' skiing.
From Bourg St Maurice, take a bus or taxi to Tignes - about 35 minutes depending on traffic.
